how it works

Intake

Veterans, seniors (or their caseworkers), gig workers, travel nurses, complete a short application so we can confirm independence, housing needs, and program fit.

Onboard

If accepted, we coordinate payment, membership contact, house and room assignment, and house guidelines to ensure a smooth transition into the home.

Move In

Resident moves into a fully furnished Doorhaven home and becomes a part of a wonderful and warm community.

  • Gig Workers (Tech, Doordash, Uber Drivers etc)
  • Seniors 55+

  • Have Smoke Detectors & Basic Safety Compliance
  • Have functioning HVAC
  • Offer Private and Semi Private bedrooms (property contingent)
  • Have shared kitchen and bathrooms
  • Include Furnishings, Utilities, Wi-Fi, and Laundry Access
